SunStone Maritime Group A/S is pleased to announce,that a launching ceremony for Ocean Albatros was successfully held on Friday, September 16, atChina Merchants Heavy Industries in Haimen, China.The Ocean Albatros is the sixth vessel in the series of INFINITY Class newbuild vessels to be built forSunStone. The planned delivery of Ocean Albatros isspring of 2023, where she will go on year-roundcharter with Albatros Expeditions.Everyone at SunStone is very pleased to see the Ocean Albatros launched and looks forward toseeing her sea trial during the winter.INFINITY Class Vessels are 104 meters long and 18 meters wide, with a draft of 5.1 meters. Theyfeature a passenger capacity of between 130 and 200 and a crew capacity of between 85 and 115.The Vessels are Ice Class 1A, Polar Class 6 and are being built with Safe Return to Port, DynamicPositioning, and zero speed stabilizers. Ulstein Design & Solutions' X-Bow® is featured on the Vessels.They are small enough to give an exclusive atmosphere and yet large enough to yield all theexpected services and facilities, such as a swimming pool, bar, restaurants, lounges, boutique, gymand spa.Three INFINITY Class newbuilds, the GREG MORTIMER, the OCEAN EXPLORER, and the OCEANVICTORY, have already been delivered and are now in operation. The SYLVIA EARLE and the OCEANODYSSEY will be delivered in 2022.
